Rigid mount booster

A booster design that, unlike conventional boosters, does not use O-rings to isolate the booster body from the clamp ring. Instead, a rigid mount booster uses a non-compliant mounting method such as an all-metal decoupling ring.

A rigid mount booster may be used:

  1. Where precise positioning of the stack is required.
  2. Where there are high axial or lateral forces on the stack.
  3. Where a hermetic seal is required (not available for all rigid booster designs).
